# Jarvis HUD Integration Issue - Fixed

## Problem
When trying to "Add Jarvis HUD" to an instance, the deployment failed with:
```
Command failed: docker compose -p genney-jarvis-ee-o45wo -f /home/ashraffarid2010/wakelai.com/.runtime/jarvis-ee-o45wo/docker-compose.yml up -d --remove-orphans --build
unable to prepare context: path "/home/ashraffarid2010/wakelai.com/.runtime/jarvis-ee-o45wo/D:/work/_external/jarvis_ai" not found
```

## Root Cause
The `JARVIS_SOURCE_DIR` environment variable in `.env.local` was set to a Windows path:
```bash
JARVIS_SOURCE_DIR=D:/work/_external/jarvis_ai
```

This path doesn't exist on the Linux server, causing Docker Compose to fail when trying to build the Jarvis container.

## Solution Applied

### 1. Updated Environment Variable
Changed `JARVIS_SOURCE_DIR` to a valid Linux path:
```bash
JARVIS_SOURCE_DIR=/home/ashraffarid2010/wakelai.com/docker/jarvis-stub
```

### 2. Created Jarvis Stub Implementation
Created a minimal Jarvis AI stub implementation at:
```
/home/ashraffarid2010/wakelai.com/docker/jarvis-stub/
├── server/
│   ├── server.py          # Minimal FastAPI server
│   └── requirements.txt   # Python dependencies
```

### 3. Stub Server Features
The stub server provides:
- Health check endpoint (`/health`)
- Configuration endpoint (`/config`)
- WebSocket endpoint (`/ws`) for real-time communication
- Echo functionality for testing

### 4. Application Restarted
- PM2 restarted with new environment variables
- Failed deployment cleaned up
- PM2 configuration saved

## Current State

### Jarvis Stub Structure
```
/home/ashraffarid2010/wakelai.com/docker/jarvis-stub/
├── server/
│   ├── server.py          # FastAPI stub implementation
│   └── requirements.txt   # FastAPI, uvicorn, pyyaml, websockets
```

### Docker Configuration
The stub uses the existing Dockerfile at:
```
/home/ashraffarid2010/wakelai.com/docker/jarvis-ai.Dockerfile
```

## Testing Jarvis HUD Integration

### To Test Jarvis Integration:
1. Go to your instance dashboard
2. Click "Add Jarvis HUD"
3. Fill in the required credentials:
   - Wakel AI admin password
   - ElevenLabs API key
   - ElevenLabs voice ID
4. Submit the form

### Expected Behavior:
- Jarvis container should build successfully from the stub
- Container should start on the wakelai-runtime network
- WebSocket endpoint should be available at `ws://[instance-subdomain]:8765/ws`
- Health check available at `http://[instance-subdomain]:8765/health`

## Limitations (Stub Implementation)

The current implementation is a **stub** that provides:
- Basic server structure
- WebSocket connectivity
- Configuration loading
- Echo functionality

### What's Missing (Full Implementation):
- Actual AI voice processing
- ElevenLabs integration
- Hermes API integration
- Real-time transcription (STT)
- Voice synthesis pipeline

## Future Implementation

To implement the full Jarvis AI functionality:

1. **Obtain Jarvis AI Source Code**
   - Replace stub with actual Jarvis implementation
   - Update `JARVIS_SOURCE_DIR` if needed

2. **Update Docker Compose Configuration**
   - Modify `makeLocalJarvisCompose()` in `dokploy.ts` if needed
   - Ensure proper volume mounts and dependencies

3. **Environment Variables**
   - `API_SERVER_KEY`: Hermes API key
   - `ELEVENLABS_API_KEY`: ElevenLabs API key
   - `JARVIS_HUD_TOKEN`: HUD authentication token

## Files Modified
- `.env.local` - Updated `JARVIS_SOURCE_DIR`
- `docker/jarvis-stub/server/server.py` - Created stub implementation
- `docker/jarvis-stub/server/requirements.txt` - Created Python dependencies

## Testing the Fix
Try adding Jarvis HUD again - it should now successfully build and deploy the stub implementation instead of failing with the Windows path error.
